Tildia Ransom, former Konawa resident, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Meeker Nursing Center in Meeker, OK at the age of 97 years.rnrnShe was born April 6, 1910 in Maxwell, OK Dub Rogers and Nancy (Charles) Rogers.rnrnTildia worked as a cook and was also a housekeeper at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City for several years.rnrnShe was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church in Konawa.rnrnShe married Henry Ransom on November 26, 1926 and he preceded her in death in 1984.rnrnShe is survived by four daughters, Izalure Parker and Pearlie Scott, both of Oklahoma City, Martha Arradondo of Konawa and Viadalia Guess of Prague; rnrnthree sons, Fred Ransom, Sr. of Oklahoma City, Henry Ransom, Jr. and William Ransom, both of Konawa;rnrnover 200 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.rnrnShe was also preceded in death by her parents; one son Quentell Ransom; four daughters, Mandy Ann Ransom, Henryetta Hall, Thelma Shelby and Lanetta Heath and one sister, Ida Clark.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church, 1520 Blue Bell Road in Prague with Pastor L.R. Drankwater officiating.rnServing as pallbearers will be Bobby Spears, Dewayne Burdine,rnBerford Parker, Antonio Smith, Marcus Pendleton and Glendale Parker. rnHonorary bearers will be Eric Ransom, Donald Ransom, Dewayne Ransom, Kevin Guess, Timothy Guess, Derrick Parker and Melvin Hall.rnInterment will be at Grayson Cemetery with services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
