Thomas Walker

Thomas Walker, age 75 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Hospice Quality Care in Midwest City, Oklahoma. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Jerry States will officiate. Tom was born July, 15, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Frances (Walker) and William Edward Trautwein.  He married Donna Butler on July 10, 1982 in Konawa.  Tom loved fishing and reading.  He also loved working as an engineer for the nuclear power plant in Baxley, Georgia for the Georgia Power Company which is owned by the Southern Company. He is survived by his wife, Donna Walker of Konawa; one son, Austin Thomas Walker of Konawa; one daughter, Daisha Walker of Ada, Oklahoma; two brothers, Michael Trautwein and James Trautwein, both of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Elaine Youens and Mary Dickehut, both of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren, Afton, Shayla, and C.J. Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William and Steve; and one sister, Suzanne Trautwein.
