Thomas Lee Castle

Thomas Lee Castle, 72, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on July 22, 2019 in Seminole. He was born on May 30, 1947 in Grants Pass, Oregon to parents Wesley Castle, Jr. and Lois Joy (Blanchard) Castle Houck. Thomas graduated from New Lima High School. He also received an Associate Degree from Seminole Junior College. Thomas married Carolyn Sue Houck on March 22, 1968. He worked at New Lima School for 33 years in the cafeteria, drove a bus, was the custodian and helped with the 4H shooting sports and Boy Scouts. He enjoyed fishing, photography and raising bees. He was so good at woodworking that if you showed him a picture of something, he could make it. He really enjoyed taking the grandchildren swimming and to the park to play in a fort. Thomas is survived by his wife Carolyn of the home, his son; Travis Castle and his wife Allison of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his daughter; Victoria Stidham and her husband Chesley of Seminole, Oklahoma, his brothers; Jack Castle and his wife Millie, Don Castle, Kenneth Castle and his wife Shirley and Emmit Houck all of Seminole, Oklahoma, his sister; Patti Castle of Tulsa, Oklahoma and grandchildren; Jeffrey Davis, Devon and Jessica Castle, Chance, Alexandria, Caleb and Carter Stidham. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Memorial services for Thomas will be at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Clay Swanson officiating.
