Thomas Ahaisse

Thomas Lee Ahaisse, 69 year old former Seminole County resident, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born March 28, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Odis B. Harjo and Betty Jo Ahaisse. Thomas graduated from Varnum High School.  Following High School, he served in the United States Army where he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Thomas worked as a land surveyor for the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.  He was also a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (the Tusekia Harjo Band). Survivors include two sons, Fous Ahaisse of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Coacoche Ahaisse of Holdenville, Oklahoma, two daughters, Dana Lee Ahaisse Lingle and her husband Thomas of Moore, Oklahoma, Takoche Ahaisse and her husband Brian Sanders of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, four brothers, Johnson “Jr.” Warledo Jr. of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Lesley Warledo of McAlester, Oklahoma, Gerald Warledo, Darrel Warledo, three sisters, Reba Flute and her husband Gene of Apache, Oklahoma, Freda Warledo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rita Warledo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren, Josia Williams, Asher Factor, Arianna Factor, Eco Sanders, Afvcke Sanders, Tvffolupv Sanders, and a host of other family and dear friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, by three brothers, Leo Warledo, Jason Warledo, Charlie Warledo, and by two sisters, Nita Champiaol, and Phyllis Chetpatananton. Wake services are scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Hitchitee Methodist Church located 5 miles East of Little on Hwy 99A. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2016 at Hitchitee Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at the Harjo Family Cemetery with Military Honors being provided by the Seminole Nation Honor Guard. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
