Theda (Pease) Landrith,83, longtime Seminole resident died, Monday, March 16, 2009 at Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Theda was born December 24, 1925 in Seminole to James Lester and Flora (Smith) Pease. Theda was a life long resident of Seminole and died after a short illness. Theda attended Seminole High School and married Jack Landrith in Reno, Nevada on December 27, 1942, he preceded her in death on January 18, 1995. Theda worked at Douglas Aircraft during World War II and in later years was a longtime sales clerk at Jones Jewelry in Seminole. She is survived by her children: Jackie and Bob Pock of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ronda and Skip Myers of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Kelley and Angela Landrith of Texas. Her siblings, Lester and Fran Pease of Illinois; Myra Lawson of California; Damon and Dolores Pease of Mustang, Oklahoma; Dale Pease of Texas; Linda & Jimmy Jones of Oklahoma City; Lesanna and Greg Presley of El Reno, Oklahoma. Theda is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Loving Care Hospice in Shawnee for the fine care that they gave Mrs. Landrith. Memorial donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darryl Tiller officiating. Serving as casket bearers are Skip Myers, J. T. Walker, Jesse Myers, Jimmy Jones, Bob Pock and Damon Pease, Jr.. Internment will be at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma. Casket will remain open till service time then will be closed.
