Thaddeus Ethan "Tad" Alford, 29 year old Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home in Maud. He was born November 25, 1989 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Terry Wayne Alford and Sherri Dawn Horton. Tad attended Maud Public Schools and graduated in 2008 from Maud High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for CP3 Construction owned by Mike Peters in Maud. Tad was a citizen of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers and hunting. Tad leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tiffany Cooper of the home, one daughter Brailynn Alford of the home; his father, Terry Alford and his wife Shelley of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; his mother, Sherri (Horton) Sockey of Seminole, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother Sue Horton of Seminole, Oklahoma; his paternal grandparents Herbert Alford of Harrah, Oklahoma, Terry and Ilene Flesler of Mustang, Oklahoma; three brothers Cody Sockey of Seminole, Oklahoma, Brandon Alford and his wife Karis of Moore, Oklahoma, Preston McWhirter and his wife Nikita of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nikki Castle and her husband Issac of Seminole, Oklahoma, Brittni Chaney and her husband Wesley of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 18, 2019 at Maud High School Auditorium in Maud, Oklahoma with Dave Herriman officiating the service. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers will be: Cody Sockey, Jonathan Nichols, Mason Russell, Chris Dolan, Tanner Silas, Chastin Nichols, Austin Harper, Zack Weger and Daniel Peters.
