Terry Lea (Hughes) Sharp

Terry Lea (Hughes) Sharp, age 57 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at Vista Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.  Ronnie Lunsford will officiate. Terry was born on March 7, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Glen Dale and Geneva (Menser) Hughes.  She married Jim Sharp on June 10, 1977 in DeQueen, Arkansas.  Terry was a surgical technician and worked for Carl Albert Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed taking care of her family.  She also enjoyed collecting jewelry, raising chickens, barrel racing, and camping in Colorado. She is survived by her husband, Jim Sharp of the home; parents, Glen and Geneva Hughes of Gaar Corner, Oklahoma; one son, Michael Sharp and wife, Marcy of Asher, Oklahoma; one daughter, Rachele Lowry and husband, Heath of Asher, Oklahoma; one brother, Larry Hughes of Gaar Corner, Oklahoma; two sisters, Glenda Isaacs and husband, Greg of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Pam Hughes of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Kaytie Danielle Sharp, Matthew Allen Pitts, Raegan Dayle Lowry, and Hayden Garrett Lowry. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Quinton Pitts, Kyleigh Lowry, and Jacob Lowry.   A register book is available for signing at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.
