Terry McCormick

Terry Don McCormick, 52 Terry Don McCormick, life long Seminole resident passed away Wednesday January 16, 2013 at Seminole, Oklahoma. Terry was born October 31, 1960 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents, Glenn McCormick and Betty June (Scott) McCormick. Terry attended and graduated from Seminole High School and after graduation he joined the Oklahoma National Guard and earned the rank of PFC. Terry worked as a laborer and was a handy man around the Seminole area. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lord’s Community Church of Seminole, Oklahoma. Terry married Tina Denise Laney on June 28, 2003 at the Temple of Praise in Seminole, Oklahoma. Terry is survived by his wife Tina of the home, two brothers, Glenn T. McCormick of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Joe McCormick of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Betty McCormick and two infant sons. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating. Services will conclude at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Josh Underwood, Shawn Crisenberry, Marcus Wright, Howard McAlester, Patrick Bradley and Rick Melton.
