Harjo, age 48, a life-long resident of Seminole County, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnA Wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10th at the Bird Creek Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th, at the Bird Creek Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, OK. Billy Merritt and Jimsey Harjo will officiate. Burial will follow at Ishlum-Harjo Cemetery in Konawa, OK. Pallbearers are J.J. Johnico, Jason Johnico, Larry Harjo, Jr., Brian Harjo, Ellis Little, and Lydell Yellowfish.rnrnBubba was born on February 9, 1960, in Oklahoma City, OK. to Jimsey Harjo and Anna Mae Harjo. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma, where he lived for most of his life. Bubba loved to watch football.rnrnHe is survived by three sons, Daniel Harjo of Oklahoma City, OK., and Michael Harjo and Derek Harjo, both of Lawton, OK; one sister, Janice Johnico of Kansas City, MO.; one aunt, Ida Little of Seminole, OK.; three uncles, Jack Bruner of Midwest City, OK., Eugene Harjo of Sasakwa, OK., and Jessie Harjo of Arkansas, Kansas; one great uncle, Kiven Harjo of Konawa, OK., and one great aunt, Cora Harjo of Sasakwa, OK.; and four grandchildren.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, Jimsey and Anna Mae Harjo, and one brother, Larry Harjo, Sr. Funeral Information: October 10, 2008, 2:00 AM
