Longtime Seminole resident Terleen Elmore passed away on August 11, 2008 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 78. rn rnShe was born on February 22, 1930 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Marion ?MT? Terrell and Leland ?Lena? (Moss) Dockery. She moved to Seminole from Sulphur, Oklahoma thirty years ago. rnrnTerleen worked as a seamstress at Acme Cleaners from 1960 to 1984. She retired in 1995. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Sulphur, Oklahoma. rn rnShe married Gerald Elmore on November 26, 1947 in Gainesville, Texas, he preceded her in death on May 9, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. rn rnShe is survived by son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Connie Elmore of Seminole, Oklahoma and by six grandchildren; Amy Elmore of Ada, Oklahoma, Sarah Biffle of Seminole, Patrick Elmore of Noble, Oklahoma, Lori Garr of Seminole, Kirby Richards of Seminole and Gordon Elmore of the home.rn rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Green and Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
