Teresa Peters

Teresa Fae (Pratt) Peters, 79 year-old longtime Konawa and Maud resident passed from this life on June 4, 2008 at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born October 10, 1928 in Maud, Oklahoma to parents Cecil E. Pratt and Virginia Mae "Virgie" (Lewis) Pratt.rn rnTeresa graduated from Maud High School in 1947 and was of the Baptist faith. She married Vernon Dale Peters on June 27, 1948 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They returned to the Konawa and Maud area in 1970 moving from Bethany, Oklahoma. rn rnSurvivors include her husband Vernon Peters of the home. One daughter and son-in-law, Mollie and Dale Herndon of Mustang, Oklahoma. Twin sister, Rosa Mae Jett of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Three grandchildren, Verna Denice Jones, Nathaniel Herndon and Joseph Herndon. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Chelsea Herndon, Charles Jones and Jordan Herndon and a host of other family and dear friends.rn rnTeresa is preceded in death by her parents.rn rnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma with Rev.
