Teresa Althea Lusty

Teresa “Terry” Althea Lusty, 69, passed away on February 26, 2020 at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by close family and friends. Teresa was one of 13 children born to Philip Castro and Althea Hodgins in Oklahoma City on May 19, 1950. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1968. She married her high school sweetheart, Leonard Lusty on July 5, 1968 and together they had 6 children. She worked various jobs, but her favorite one was being a grandmother to her 31 grandchildren. Terry is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lusty, Sr., son Lloyd Lusty, grandchildren; Levi Lusty and Leslie Lusty and siblings; Rick Castro, Patricia Castro, Ramona Castro, Delores Castro and parents; Philip Castro, Althea Hodgins and Rita Rosales. She is survived by two sons, three daughters and a host of friends and family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Kobe Roman, Manny Roman, Lance Roman, Manuel Roman, Louis Lusty and Tommy Hawkins. Honorary bearers will be Leonard Lusty, Jr., Lucas Lusty, Richard Lusty, Sr., Fernie Pinion,  Rene Herrera, Abe Walters and Richard Lusty, Jr. Arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
