Teresa Marie Bartosh of Seminole passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the age of 69.
Teresa, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Craig) Curtis, was born August 8, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas. On September 1, 1984, she married Delbert Bartosh in Golden Colorado. Shortly after their marriage, Teresa and Delbert moved from Colorado to Seminole. Upon arriving in Seminole, Teresa began her career at Seminole State College working in the Financial Aid office. She enjoyed doing crochet, shopping, collecting all sorts of pig figurines, reading and watching the Hallmark Channel. Teresa was a proud and active member of Harvey Road Baptist Church. She loved interacting with her Sunday School class members as well as working with the youth group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carolyn Morasch; and by two sons, Brian and Matthew Subelka.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Delbert, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Ange Bartosh of Maryland; daughters and son-in-law, Amy and Marc Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri and Heather Bartosh of Seminole, one daughter-in-law; Becky Subelka of Seminole, Oklahoma, her grandchildren, Taylor Aronson, Brayden McClellan, Nick Johnson, Blake Johnson, and Abagail Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Kent Walters of Jacksonville, Florida; brother-in-law, Scott Bartosh; nephew, Garrett Bartosh of Seminole; aunt and uncle, Joyce and Tim Williams of Harrisonville Missouri; and many other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bartosh, Marc Wilson, Matt Gamel, Scott Bartosh, Brayden McClellan, and Ed Galleciez. Honorary pallbearers are Garrett Bartosh, Chris Plumlee, Nick Johnson, and Blake Johnson.
Viewing will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Services will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Brent Hoskison officiating, interment to follow at the Little Cemetery in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
