Teddy Dean Amos, age 52 years, 8 months, 9 days, was born on November 19, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK to Sexton Amos and Mary (Cully) Tiger.rnrnAt the age of 52, he quietly passed away on July 28, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas with his two uncles, Harris and Leroy Cully, their spouses, Elsie and Gail Cully and his Aunt Leona Chosa in attendance.rnrnHe was a member of the Rewalke Band of the Seminole Nation. Teddy was known as ?Bear? by those closest to him. He was a plumber and a journeyman by trade, but he was not limited to these jobs. At an early age, Teddy was baptized at the Vamoosa Baptist Church. He had attended Konawa schools. In his younger days, Teddy was an all-around athlete, excelling in baseball, football, basketball and boxing. He loved to play the drums, but his talents did not stop there. Teddy?s gift to talk his way out of any situation was unbelievable. For example, Teddy had convinced his principal to allow him to bring his cousin, Harold, to school with him even though other children were no allowed to do so.rnrnHe was likeable, intelligent, generous and kind-hearted like his mother, Mary. No one was a stranger to him. He like playing and spending time with his younger cousins who loved and looked up to him. Teddy was respectful and obedient to his elders.rn rnHe is survived by one sister, Debra Tiger of Konawa, OK; one brother, Glen Tiger of Seminole, OK; three uncles, Harris and Joe Cully of Konawa, Ok, and Leroy Cully of Spencer, OK; two aunts, Joyce Cully of Knoawa, OK; and Leona Chosa of Albuquerque, NW; two nephews, one niece and a host of relatives.rnrnHe is preceded in death by: his parents, Sexton Amos and Mary Tiger; his wife, Marie; one infant son, Teddy Dean Amos, Jr.; two aunts, Lana Cully and Edith Coody; and his grandparents, Sam and Eunice Cully. rnrnPallbearers are David Robertson, Brandon Cully, Thomas Lindsey, Harold Cully, and Leo Alexander, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Isaacs, Darryl Chosa, Stanley Coody, and R.D.
