Tammy Denise Blackwood Rowe passed peacefully into the afterlife on August 29, 2018. Tammy loved to have a good time and lived life on her own terms. Tammy was silly, one of the funniest people that ever lived. She was the best, most welcoming friend you could have. Tammy’s life’s work was raising a family that loved her very much. She is survived by her grandkids Darrien Hester, Kamry Hester, and Kendall Masterson, their mother Wendy Brooke Masterson, her son Jacob Leon Rowe, her ex-husband James Wendell Rowe, her mother Wilma Dean Walker, and her brother Terry Mike Blackwood. Tammy was greeted on the other side by her daddy Virgil Leon Blackwood and her baby brother Robbie Brent Blackwood. Tammy left a legacy of love and laughter. Those who loved her most ask that you honor her memory by sharing a laugh with good friends and by remembering the words of poet William Wordsworth: “Though nothing can bring back the hour, of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower; we will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind…” Tammy’s family and friends will celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Vamoosa Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Funeral Information: September 4, 2018, 10:00 AM Vamoosa Cemetery located at Hwy 377 South, Vamoosa, OK 74868
