Former Seminole County resident Sybil Ann (Whitley) Gaines passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 61. rnrnShe was born on March 21, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Lola Mae (Inman) Whitley. rnrnShe leaves to cherish her memories her son John Edward Gaines and Shala of Shawnee, Oklahoma, two daughters: Kathy Watts of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Bonnie and Howard Bates of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, one sister, Rosalie Booker of Midwest City, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren: Casey Bates, Aaron Watts, Charles Bates, Adam Watts, Andrew Watts, Rayanna Gaines and Destiny Gaines. rnShe is also survived by niece Rosa Pearce and great newphew, Christopher Wilson as well as a host of other nieces, nephews and other family and friends. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents: John and Lola Whitley and her husband, Silas Edward Gaines. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Dustin Cemetery in Dustin, Oklahoma with Johnny Stephens officiating. rnrnPallbearers will be: John Gaines, Howard Bates, Charles Bates, Aaron Watts, Adam Watts and Andrew Watts. rnrnrnrn Funeral Information: April 6, 2009, 2:00 AM
