Susan Kay Sullivan, 70, longtime Seminole resident, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Alliance Health Midwest in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Susan was born December 17, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Herman Cecil Sullivan, Jr. and Lena Geraldine “Jerry” Matthews. Susan grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1965 and was very active in the Seminole High School Band. She then went to the University of Oklahoma and was in the OU Marching Band for 4 years. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 1969 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology and was a proud Alumnus of the OU Marching Band. Susan was a member of the Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma and was retired at the time of her death. Susan is survived by a son Ryan Scott Niece of Seminole, Oklahoma. Her mother Jerry Sullivan of Seminole, Oklahoma, three sisters JoAnn Gilkey and her husband Dick of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jill Reynolds and her husband Dan of Seminole, Oklahoma and Nancy Klimkowski and her husband Dan of Edmond, Oklahoma, one grandson Braydon Niece, six nieces and nephews and her uncle David Forson of Seminole, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father Cecil Sullivan, maternal grandparents Winifred and Ara Dell and paternal grandparents Herman Cecil Sullivan, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan.
