Memorial services for long time Seminole resident, Susan Kalicki are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Seminole. Officiating will be Russell Vicars and Brandon Kalicki, Mrs. Kalicki's son. Interment is to follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Noble, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, located at 100 W. Strothers.rnrnSusan passed away at the age of 61 on June 28th at her home in Seminole. She was born August 21, 1946 in Norman, Oklahoma to parents William R. and Nettie Lee Smith. Both her parents preceded her in death.rnrnSusan graduated from Noble High School and Seminole State College with honors. She married Dough Kalicki on September 21, 1973 in Norman, Oklahoma.rnrnSusan was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She and her husband enjoyed attending OU football games for 35 season, traveling and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. she also enjoyed her water aerobics class at Seminole State College.rnrnSusan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole for 20 years and was faithful in reading her Bible daily and attending her Sunday School class and her Tuesday Morning Bible Study conducted by Mrs. Lucy Dacus.rnrnThose who knew Susan will remember that she always felt "blessed" and was an inspiration and blessing to others. She was a faithful and loving servant to the Lord.rnrnSusan is survived by her husband, Doug; sons Greg and Louise Kalicki of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jeff and Beth Kalicki of Lithia, Flordia; and Reverand Brandon and Shanna Kalicki of Ponca City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; brother Donald R. Smith of Norman, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, counsins and dear friends.rnrnThose serving as pall-bearers will be Robert Foxx, Ron Frederick, Gary Tolson, Gary Dutton, Winston Neal and Gary Adams.
