Sue Carolyn Weingarten

May 29, 1925 — October 1, 2020

Sue C. Weingarten, 95, of Sun City West, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2020. She was born on May 29, 1925 to the late Milton Lee Spiegle and Lavinia (Shelley) Spiegle in Drumright, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Arkansas and studied Business Administration.

Sue was Volunteer of the Year at  Luke Air Force Base for family services in 1966, a member of American Contract Bridge League (Life Master and Director) Kiva West Bridge Club, Delta Gamma, Rainbow Girl, and a long time volunteer at the Cub and Boy Scouts, Teen Club, Little League, and American Red Cross. She enjoyed needle work, duplicate bridge, and gardening, especially roses.

Sue is survived by her sons James A. Hamilton III of Moody, TX and Michael L. Hamilton of Peoria, AZ, Grandchildren James A. Hamilton IV of Waco, TX, Jason L. Hamilton of Waco, TX, Angela Scafe of Moody, TX, Sara Allen and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Graveside services will be held at  2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, OK.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
