Sue (Reddin) Clark, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 70 on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born August 1, 1950 in Waco, Texas to parents Bill D. and Florene (Thomas) Reddin. The family moved to Seminole in 1955 to own and operate the Reddin Grocery Store.
Sue grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools graduating in 1968. Upon graduation, she went to Oklahoma University and while there, she worked for Ed Key Colt and V.Z. Lawton as secretary/bookkeeper in the home construction business. She then moved back to Seminole and went to work for First National Bank, which eventually sold to BancFirst. Sue met the love of her life, C.M. Clark there and they were married November 1, 1986. Sue liked to cook and bake for her family. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Seminole, serving her Lord and Savior in whatever way her church family needed her.
Those left to cherish Sue’s memories are her brothers; Dr. Jack Reddin of Green Valley, Arizona and Mr. Tom Reddin of Angel Fire, New Mexico, Chris and Dava Clark of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Terry and Pam Fletcher of Seminole, Oklahoma, Derek and Carrie Clark, Carson and Connor Clark of Norman, Oklahoma, Paul, April and Megan Vail of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tyler Crandall of Bethel, Oklahoma, Casady Fletcher of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Dylan and Peyton Reese of Fort Smith, Arkansas, nieces and nephews and a host of very, very special friends, all who she loved very much and Win her ever-loving loyal schnauzer! Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Florene Reddin and her loving husband, C.M. Clark.
Viewing will be from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home.
The Celebration of Life Service for Sue will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Glen Pence Officiating. The family will have a private burial for Sue at Maple Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Casady Fletcher, Dylan Reese, Tyler Crandall, Paul Vail, Brandon Moreland and Derek Clark.
Arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
