Steven Brashear

Steven Mark Brashear, 61 Steven Mark Brashear, an Asher resident, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his home at the age of 61 years. Steven was born September 16, 1953 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to parents, Rev. Glen Brashear and Rozland (Bozarth) Brashear. Steven served in the United States Marines Corps, and was a member of the Gypsy Holiness Church. Steven is survived by one son, Daniel Brashear of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, adopted son, Caleb Brashear of Mannford, Oklahoma; two adopted daughters, Stephanie Brashear of Mannford, Oklahoma, Jessica Brashear of Upland, California; one sister, Glenda Bellamy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and six grandchildren. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Glen and Rozland Brashear, one daughter, Tina Michele Brashear and one adopted son, Phillip Dwayne Brashear. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Hale Pentecostal Holiness Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rev. Joseph Snow and Rev. Larry Wood will officiate the service. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home Konawa, Oklahoma.
