Stephen Keith “ Steve” Smith, 50, of Ames, Oklahoma died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Bass Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma.  Steve was born May 19, 1963 in Prague, Oklahoma. Steve is survived by his parents Shirley and Ray Carson of Ames, Oklahoma. Steve was a former Seminole resident. Steve attended school in Hennessey, Oklahoma and worked as a Hydro Tester for well services in the Oklahoma Oilfields. Steve is survived by his parents Shirley and Ray Carson of Ames, Oklahoma, his father Charley H. Smith of Missouri,  one son Jason Smith of Ames, Oklahoma and two daughters, Brandy Peters of Pennsylvania and Morgan Smith of Sudan, Texas, two brothers Jeff Smith and his wife Bobbie of Ames, Oklahoma and Kurt Smith and his wife Brandy of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma with Chris Stinnett officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends and family Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5:00P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
