Stephen Livesay

Stephen “Big Steve” Austin Livesay, age 65 and a former resident of Seminole County, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was a current resident of Canadian, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery.   Gary Choate will officiate.  Pallbearers are John Lewis Smith, Lawrence Ray Livesay, Thad Cathey, Eric Livesay, Joe Sutton, Bobby Kerns, Edward Roy Livesay, and Jason “Buck” Livesay. Steve was born on April 21, 1947, in Seagraves, Texas to William Clinton Livesay and Ruby Claire (Smith) Livesay.  He worked as an Oilfield Driller, and he loved fishing, and being with his family and friends. His is survived by two sons, Clint Perner and wife, Amy of Austin, Texas, and Erick Livesay of Altus, Oklahoma; three daughters, Shala Fischer and husband, Chris of San Angelo, Texas, Delta Sutton and husband, Joe of Kansas City, Missouri, and Misty Livesay of Canadian, Oklahoma; two brothers, Albert Livesay and wife, Mary of Odessa, Texas, and Herman Livesay and wife, Delaine of Konawa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Vanita  Lemmon and husband, Erwin of Richmond, Virginia, and Rose Chapman of Wiggins, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a wife, Terry (Penn) Livesay, five sisters, five brothers and many friends.
