Stella Newman

Former Longtime Bowlegs resident Stella Levell Newman passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the age of 86. rnrnShe was born on May 23, 1920 in Tennessee to John W. and Pearl Mae (Ingram) Cornett. rnrnShe married William "Clarence" Newman on October 29, 1938. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2003.rnrnStella was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bowlegs. In the 70's she owned a sno cone stand in Bowlegs. She loved to crochet.rnrnShe is survived by daughter Sue Sharber of Winfall, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Cheryle Newman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. 5 Grandchildren- Peggy Brumley, Mike Sharber and Pam Reeder all of Indiana. Ricky Newman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Randy Newman of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma. 11 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Her Husband, One Son William Newman, 1 Great Granddaughter, Angie Sharber Doyle and 15 Brothers and Sisters. Funeral Information: October 25, 2006, 2:00 AM
