Shirley Jean (Haddox) Spencer

Shirley Jean Spencer, 70, longtime Shawnee/Tecumseh area resident died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Shirley was born July 7, 1945 in Marysville, California to Joe Haddox and Jewell (Hedrick) Haddox. She also lived in Plainview, Texas for a short time. Shirley was a graduate of Midwest City High School. Shirley was an aircraft electrician at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and worked there for 28 years. She attended the Church of God in Tecumseh, Oklahoma and loved crocheting and playing bingo. She is survived by two daughters Kristi Anderson and her husband Chris, Chandra and Sandra Cansler, one brother Bill Haddox, four grandchildren Randall Warner, Jacob Warner, Nichole Warner and Amber Norris of Florida, one great granddaughter Fianna Warner as well as many nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Wes Haddox officiating.
