Shirley Ann (Banks) Robbins, 68 of Chickasha, Oklahoma resident and formerly of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed from this life on June 8, 2016 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born May 24, 1948 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. On March 17, 1964 Shirley married Raymond E. “Butch” Robbins, Jr. in Friend, Oklahoma. They raised their daughters in Chickasha, Seminole, Marlow and Maud. Shirley worked as the longtime manager of “J.R.’s Movie Land” in Seminole until the business closed. Following the death of her husband “Butch,” Shirley lived in, Seminole, Marlow and then in Chickasha, Oklahoma where she resided until her death. She was a member of the “Duncan Arts and Crafts Association”. Shirley is survived by two daughters, Jana Brackett and her husband, Sean of Harrah, Oklahoma, Tammy Robbins-Miller and her husband, Alex of Chickasha, Oklahoma; son-in-law, George Holman of Chickasha, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jimmy Banks and his wife, Delores of Harker Heights, Texas, Louis Banks and his wife, Heidi of Yukon, Oklahoma, Ronnie Banks and his wife, Camille of Savanah, Georgia; 8 grandchildren, Faith, Derek, Danica, Rayce, Colby, Brandy, Aimee and Tiara;by 4 great grandchildren, Braylee, Ford, Shane and Raven; two brothers-in-law, Jack Troyer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, by Joe Judkins of Duncan, Oklahoma; and by a host of other family and dear friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Ray (Rice) Banks, by her husband Raymond E. “Butch” Robbins Jr., one daughter, Donna Holman; and two sisters, Dianna Troyer, and Kathy Judkins. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole, Oklahoma on Hwy 377. Hugh D. Megee will officiate the service. Casket Bearers will be: Sean Brackett, Ronnie Banks, Louis Banks, Jimmy Banks, Alex Miller, Christopher Banks, Derek Miller, and George Holman.
