Shirley Virginia (Morrow) Radford, age 83 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Church of Christ in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Richard Winters will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemtery. Casket bearers are Terrell Griffin, Mike Boren, Keith Boren, Tony Lowry, Burnus Fisher, Jack Russell, and Roger McClure. Shirley was born October 23, 1935 in Konawa to Frank Elmer Morrow and Gladys Irene (Nicholson) Morrow. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Konawa, and she worked as an administrative assistant in the oil and gas industry. Shirley loved to play “Rook” with her family and friends. She is survived by one son, David Lane and wife, Cindy of West Lake Village, California; one daughter, Laura Collins and husband, James of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Jordan Schlabach, Jillian Wyant, Jacqueline Lane, and Jackson Lane; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Morrow; two sons, Curtis Dale Radford on February 7, 2016 and Mark Steven Lane on June 20, 2003; and one brother, Glenn Morrow.
