Shirley Ann (Blythe) Lamirand

Shirley Ann (Blythe) Lamirand, age 76 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away at Solara Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.  Dallas Red Barnes will officiate. Shirley was born on July 12, 1938 in Eubanks, Oklahoma to Samuel Blythe and Josie (Payne) Blythe.  She graduated from high school in Millington, Tennessee and married Charles Edward Lamirand on March 5, 1955 in Purcell, Oklahoma.  Shirley loved flowers, gardening, sewing, and crocheting.  Lately, she loved to watch western movies. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Charles Lamirand of the home; two sons, Terry and Ellen Lamirand of Wellington, Kansas, and Billy and Connie Lamirand of Asher, Oklahoma; three daughters, Carol A. Davis of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Carrie Lynne and Ronald Malone of Asher, Oklahoma, and Bobbie Jo and Aaron Wauahdooah of Asher, Oklahoma; two sisters, Betty S. Simpson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Geniva and Russell Brumley of Moore, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and four great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Josie Blythe; one son, Charles Edward Lamirand, Jr.; and one great granddaughter, Sadie Malone.
