Shirley Ann Huntley

Shirley Ann Huntley, Wewoka resident, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  Shirley was born on August 21, 1946, to Jake and Stella Mae (Pompey) Huntley, in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.  She spent most of her life in Wewoka.  Shirley married Ray Goodson who preceded her in death.  She loved spending time with her family, walking, playing with her great grandbabies, listening to music and being outside.

Shirley is survived by her son, Jay Chubby Huntley of Wewoka; three daughters, Latricia Huntley, Regina Huntley and Billie Huntley and husband Marcus Crockett, all of Wewoka;  three sisters, Pearl Huntley, Ruby Huntley and Lavoris Huntley; six grandchildren, LaShawnda Crockett, Mark Crockett, Shiricka Crockett, Marcus Crockett Jr., Tyris Crockett and Isreal Huntley; ten great A’keilah Gordon, A’Leeah Harjo, Amizian Harjo, Israel Harjo II, Jacelyn Crockett, Kharcenn Crockett, Emery Miles, Nylah Crockett, Kaden Huntley and Siniyah Huntley and many other family and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leroy Pompey, Tom Shannon Huntley, Sharon Huntley, Joe Huntley and Harrison Huntley; sisters, Adella Stephens, Quanzetta Carolina, Lillie Huntley and Julianne Huntley.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
