Shirley Hunter

Former longtime Seminole County resident Shirley Janet Hunter passed away on November 15, 2007 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age 67. She was born on December 9, 1939 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.rn rnShe met and married a semi-pro baseball player, Martin L. Hunter whom she said she would spend the rest of her life with; together they spent 49 wonderful years together. They were married on March 8, 1955 in Reno, Nevada.rn rnHer parents, and one son, Robert L. Hunter, precede her in death. rn rnShe is survived by her husband Martin L. Hunter of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and two daughters Kelly Currier and Carla Malouf, both of Wetumka, Oklahoma. Ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her.rn rnFuneral Services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
