Shirley Ann House, 62, Seminole county resident died Friday, January 17, 2014 at her home in Seminole county. She was born November 29, 1951 in Brownsville, Kentucky to Gracie (James) Carder and Unie C. Carder. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Free Will Baptist Church in Wolf, Oklahoma. She loved to sing, preach, teach and counsel about the Lord and the Holy Bible to everyone. She loved to fish, cook and sew. She loved God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and was a Christian 100% and no one could change her. She was a member of the Prayer Chain of Wolf Free Will Baptist Church where she prayed for everyone day and night. She was a cook at Mammoth Cave State Park Resort in Kentucky. She also cooked and was a janitor for Edmonson School District in Edmonson County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Voluntary fire department with her father, deputy sheriff in Kentucky and truck driver for PTL Truck Lines. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Jack House of the home, one stepdaughter, Brenda Burkey of Shawnee, Oklahoma and one stepson, William Edward House of Odessa, Texas, two grandchildren, David and Hannah Burkey; two brothers Richard Carder and his wife Eve of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Thomas Carder of Bowling Green, Ky., and many nephews, nieces, and cousins in Kentucky. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Rev. Allen Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Cemetery south of Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
