Shirley Dorsett

Shirley Ann Dorsett, 84 year old Seminole resident, passed away April 8, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shirley was born September 10, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Steven Brasher and Stella (Gates) Brasher. Shirley married Melvin Dorsett on October 29, 1967 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Shirley enjoyed sewing, knitting and being with her grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her husband of 50 years, Melvin Dorsett of Seminole, Oklahoma; son, Randy; siblings, Bettie and Glenn; grandchildren, Jonathon, Megan, Breanna, Amy and Josh; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Anthony, Isabella and McKenna. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Timothy (2001) and sister Lois. Memorial services for Shirley will be held at Noon on April 20, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Watson officiating.
