Sherry Ann (Stanberry) Doyon

Sherry Ann (Stanberry) Doyon, age 73 and a resident of Wolf, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Michael D. Stanberry will officiate. Sherry was born March 18, 1944 in Centrahoma, Oklahoma to Harold Stanberry and Thelma Regina (Heck) Stanberry.  She married Julian Doyon February 12, 1960 in Richmond, California, and she was the Assistant Manager for Fire Lake Bingo for Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe before retiring in 2008.  Sherry was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She is survived by her husband, Julian Doyon of the home; three daughters, Patricia and Richard Uber of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debbie and Marty Joplin of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and Julie and Tony Hix of Seminole, Oklahoma; her mother, Thelma Stanberry of Wolf; two brothers, Ronald Stanberry of Texas, and Michael D. and Gloria Stanberry of Wolf, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Heather Doyon, Jennifer Slama, Bradley White, Hillary Sisson, Justin Parks, Jarrod Parks, and Jordan Parks; four great grandchildren, Paige Foster, Nick Foster, Kyson Sisson, and Olyvia Tucker. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Stanberry; one brother, Harold Junior Stanberry; mother-in-law, Hazel Bettencourt.
