Sherrie Lynn Arbuckle

Sherrie Lynn (Driver) Arbuckle, 60 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 21, 1957 in Houston, Texas to parents George Edward Driver and Betty Joan (Hardwick) Driver. Sherrie graduated from Bowlegs High School in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. She married Sylvester Arbuckle in 1974 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Sherrie had worked at Tri-City Bowling Alley in Seminole, then at Willis Quick Stop on Hwy 270 in Seminole and most recently at Seminole Quick Pic Quick Stop at the corner of Hwy 9 and Hwy 99. Sherrie enjoyed going to yard sales, going to the lake and fishing.  Most of all she loved being with her family and having family get togethers. Sherrie is survived by two sons, Phillip Arbuckle and Charlie Arbuckle both of Seminole, Oklahoma; four daughters, Sandy Overbey and her husband Chris Harjo of Cromwell, Oklahoma, Autumn Bays of Cromwell, Oklahoma, Candace Hooker of Maud, Oklahoma and Angela Cichocki of Maud, Oklahoma; two sisters, Debbie Shelton and her husband David and Patricia Driver all of Seminole, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Lisa Ransom of Seminole, Oklahoma, David Shelton of Shawnee, Michael Shelton of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jeffery Shelton of Florida and Carla Ball and Kevin Ball of Seminole, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews on the Arbuckle side of the family; six grandchildren, Dystinee Overbey, Cayley Overbey, Charlie Arbuckle Jr., Conner Arbuckle, George Arbuckle and Lindsey Arbuckle; one great grandchild, Logan Roach; by her former husband, Sylvester Arbuckle of Seminole, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Sherrie is preceded in death by her parents George and Betty Driver. Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Lord’s Community Church located at 501 N. 5th Street in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating the service. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
