Sherman Payne

Sherman Waldo Payne, 69, longtime Seminole area resident died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sherman was born on September 29, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Sherman and Choice (Morris) Payne. Sherman served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army and was retired. A daughter Sonja Payne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and four grandchildren Sontina Payne, Sontae Payne, Tre Payne and Tavon Payne survived Sherman. Funeral services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
