Sheri Lynn Barnett

Sheri Lynn Barnett, age 59, of Oklahoma City passed away at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City on November 15th, 2022. She was born to Fredricka English & Danny Cole on August 9th, 1963 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She married Stephanie Sims and were together for 10 years until her sudden death on February 10th, 2021.

Sheri was reared in Holdenville, OK ,moved to Oklahoma City and then to Tulsa for 20 years. She was a fierce basketball player for Holdenville and Wewoka in the late '70s and 80s. She loved to watch football and wrestling. Sheri was a ball of fun and lit up the room and she stood up for others when no one else would.

Survivors include one daughter LaNikia Vegos of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her mother, Fredericka English of Seminole, Oklahoma; 3 siblings, Byron English of Seminole, Oklahoma, Carlos English of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Wendy English of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
