Shelia Christine (Higdon) Hatton

Shelia Christine (Higdon) Hatton, age 56 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life December 31, 2015 at her home. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9th at the River Church located in Ada, Oklahoma.  Jeremy O’Brian will officiate, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Shelia was born August 4, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma to John Cecil Higdon and Margaret Marie (Langford) Higdon.  She worked as a sewing operater at Wrangler, and she also worked for Reeves Packing and for the Salvation Army.  She married Wesley Lee Hatton in Ada, Oklahoma.  Shelia enjoyed being with family and friends, and she loved cooking funeral dinners for the church. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Hatton of Ada, and many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Higdon; two brothers, Jimmy Ray Higdon and Cealra Higdon.
