Sheila Melinda Stargell, 36, longtime Earlsoboro resident died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at her home in Shawnee. rnrnSheila was born May 27, 1972 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Kenneth Ray and Willie Mae( Hinex) Stargell. She was a graduate of Earlsboro High School and took several business classes before going to work for Lowder's Transportation where she was a machine operator. She also enjoyed working on the computer and repairing electronics. She also spent some time as a waitress.rnrnShelia united with the New Hope Baptist Church in Earlsboro, Oklahoma at an early age under the leadership of Minister David Mitchell. rnrnSheila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Mae Lee Stargell.rnrnShe is survived by her parents Kenneth and Willie Mae Stargell, two children Britney Nicole and Eric Cameron Stargell of the home. Two sisters, Melissa Dawn Sanders of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Stephanie Talton of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Four Aunts, Shirley Edwards and her husband Lawfton of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Jo Ann Hunter of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Wanda Hinex of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Loretta Hutchinson and her husband Harold of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three uncles Wendell and Randell Stargell of Shawnee and Willie Hutchinson of Shawnee, Oklahoma and her great uncle Robert Mayes of Tulsa, Oklahoma.rnrnFuneral services will be Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Emmanuel Temple of Praise and Deliverence in Shawnee, Oklahoma at 37406 Westech Road. with Pastor Odell Hardeman officiating, with burial at Earlsboro Cemetery. rnrnCasket Bearers will be Curtis Hinex, Jack Hill, Donald Carr, Joseph Hinex III and Ed Carr.
