Sheila Norbury

Sheila Karen (Sanders) Norbury Longtime Asher area resident Sheila Karen Norbury passed away on May 9, 2010 in Asher, Oklahoma at the age of 67.  She was born on September 23, 1942 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Olen Oscar and Lillian Adele (Chambers) Sanders.             She was a member of the Avoca Church of Christ in Asher and was retired from Sander’s Laboratories in Tecumseh where she was a lab tech. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons and daughters-in-law: Mickey and Carol Postman of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Ronny and Maria Norbury of Velva, North Dakota and daughter and son-in-law: Sharla and Jason Culwell of Asher, Oklahoma, two sisters; Cheryl Newell an Ginger Gregg.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Taryn Postman, Nicota Postman, Austin Lane, Tara Norbury, Abre Norbury, Jaci Norbury and Brogan Culwell. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Olen Oscar and Lillian Adele Sanders. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Avoca Church of Christ in Asher, Oklahoma with Larry Sneed officiating and Ray Newell assisting.  Interment will follow at Tecumseh Mission Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
