Shavy Carpenter

Shavarea Mikala “Shavy” Carpenter, 26 year-old former Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed from this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born January 15, 1987 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Shereata Brane’ (Vigil) Carpenter and Michael Anthony Carpenter. Shavy worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission prior to her death. Survivors include one son, Alejandro Jesus Carpenter of Oklahoma City, one daughter, Graciella Carpenter of Oklahoma, her mother, Shereata B. Silva of Oklahoma City, her father, Michael A. Carpenter, Sr. of Wilburton, Oklahoma, four brothers, Frankie Warledo of Minnisota, Skylar Carpenter of Oklahoma City, Dalton Carpenter of Oklahoma City, Michael Carpenter, Jr. of Wilberton, Oklahoma, two sisters, Raeceata Vigil of Oklahoma City, and Penni Warledo of Oklahoma City.  She is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends. A wake service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Pastor Sandy Harjo officiating the service.
