Sharron Lee (Butler) Gladden, age 67 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Konawa City Cemetery, and Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church of Konawa will officiate. Pallbearers are Barry Streetman, Devin Gladden, Terry Bicknell, Zac Decker, Jim Sharp, and Rick Howsmon. Sharron was born on June 1, 1947 in Ada, Oklahoma to Wilma (Crenshaw) and David H. Butler. She was a Konawa High School graduate and a member of Cross Timbers Church. She lived most of her life in Konawa and married Charles Gladden in 1969. She was a kind person who was known by most of the local community because of her job as a cashier at Streetman’s Grocery Store of Konawa for many years. Sharron was a talented artist who loved to paint. She is survived by her husband, Charles Gladden of the home; her mother, Wilma Lamb of Konawa; one son, John Gladden and wife, Melinda of Vidalia, Georgia; two brothers, Bob Butler of Coffee City, Texas and Dwight Butler and wife, Sherry of McLoud, Oklahoma; two sisters, Donna Walker and husband, Tom of Konawa, and Teresa Miley and husband, Gary from Texas; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, David H. Butler; one son, Joey Gladden; one sister, Carolyn Watts; and Step-father, Walter Lamb.
