Sharon Wood

Sharon June Wood, 48 Sharon June Wood, lifelong  Seminole resident, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at the age of 48 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sharon was born April 25, 1966 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to parents, Joe Francis Griffith and Thelma Jean (Ledbetter) Griffith. Sharon graduated from Varnum High School. She loved attending bike rallies, camping, fishing and outside activities. She also loved being a Nana and sitting outside watching her grandbabies play. She also loved traveling with her husband, pipelining. Sharon married Danny D. Wood in Seminole, Oklahoma on June 2, 1984. Sharon is survived by her husband, Danny Wood and three daughters; Dawndra Wood of Seminole, Talina Walkup of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Kalancey Richardson of Seminole, Oklahoma. Two sisters, Brenda Griffith and Gloria Guthrie, both of Seminole, Oklahoma. Three grandchildren, McKenzie, Kaylee and Rusty. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Thelma Griffith, grandson, Kaden Wood, one brother, Jerry Beaird and one sister, Janette Bland. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma. There will be no graveside services.
