Sharon Willis

Sharon Marie (Nelson) Willis, 71 year old current Okemah, Oklahoma and former Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Creek Nation Hospital in Okemah, Oklahoma.  She was born May 5, 1947 in Norman, Oklahoma to parents Kenneth Nelson and Thelma Ruth (Campbell) Kheil. Sharon was raised in Harrah, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Chickasaw Tribe of Oklahoma. Sharon and her mother Thelma had a very special bond of unconditional love.  Sadly Thelma passed away in September of 2018.  The necklace that Sharon wore around her neck has a heart pendant that contains her mother’s ashes. Sharon was an old hippie/gypsy who loved her family deeply and tried to be the best mother and grandmother she could be. Sharon is survived by one son, Jerry Brashears and his wife Jennifer of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; one daughter, Sheri Pryor and her husband Kenny of Seminole, Oklahoma; one brother, Billy Coots of Norman, Oklahoma; three sisters, Candi Conley of McLoud, Oklahoma, Linda Moore of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Sherri Allen of Davis, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Carissa Eeds, Matt Brashears, Billy Brashears, Abby Brashears and Stormi Grabin as well as a host of other family and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, by two brothers, Terry Nelson and Dennis Coots.  She is also preceded in death by one grandson Beau Brashears.
