Shane Dorsey

Shane Dorsey, 38 Shane L. Dorsey, Oklahoma City resident, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Integris Southwest Medical Center at the age of 38. Shane was born April 5, 1980 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents, Alvin Lynn Dorsey and Bertha Ann (Hardy) Dorsey. Shane worked in the construction industry removing asbestos. He was the family clown, always joking and making others laugh and he was his sisters’ and brothers’ keeper. Shane’s special moments were being with his daughters and he was loved by all. Shane is survived by four daughters; Aniyah Dorsey, Jordan Dorsey, Tessa Bella Dorsey, Lorene Redfawn Dorsey; seven brothers, Chabon Dorsey, Alvin Dorsey, Jr., Nathan Dorsey, Dylan Dorsey, Travis Dorsey, Ronald Daniels, Vincent Dorsey; 14 sisters, Axie Dorsey, Donna Dorsey, Holly Dorsey, Amanda Dorsey, Charlotte Dorsey, Tara Dorsey, Sonya Dorsey, Tonya Dorsey, Amber Phillips, Felicia Hill, Tessa Howard, Shawana Hill, Jalena Hunter and Tarena Tiger. Shane was preceded in death by his parents; Alvin Dorsey and Bertha Dorsey and one sister, Kristina Davis. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Rock Springs Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma with Jimsey Harjo and Houston Tiger officiating. Burial will take place at Hawkins Cemetery near Sand Creek Eufaula Church. A wake service will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Nathan Dorsey, Dylan Dorsey, Junior Luna and Pete McGee, Daniel Tanyan, Buddy Harjo, Isaic Harjo and Joshua Hunter.
