Serena Green

Serena Green of Seminole, Oklahoma was born February 20, 1956, in Oklahoma City to Jeffie Factor and Juanita (Lewis) Factor. Serena, age 67, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2023.

Serena grew up in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and went to college at East Central University in Ada where she majored in English.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She was always smiling and happy, loved to laugh, was always there for everyone and brought lots of joy to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband Stan Green of Seminole, and their son Justin Cody Green of Oklahoma City; one sister Alice Joshua of Yukon and her husband Martin; three nieces Rhonda Factor of Holdenville, Cecilia Factor of Holdenville and Alicia Joshua of Oklahoma City; four nephews Curtis Factor, Jr. of Holdenville, Frank Walters of Yukon, Mark Joshua of Oklahoma City and Todd Joshua of El Reno; and many great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Serena was preceded in death by her parents Jeffie Factor and Juanita (Lewis) Factor and her brother Curtis Factor.

Services will be Monday, March 13, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
