Sandra Mae Pogue, 81, longtime Seminole resident, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sandra was born on August 22, 1938 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Horace McCollum and Ollie Faye McCollum. Sandra was a homemaker and kept her grandchildren and considered herself a “Professional Nanny”. Sandra loved discussing politics with whoever would discuss them with her, keeping her granddaughters, drag racing and spending time with her family. She married to William Lee “Bill “Pogue on June 10, 1961 in Velma, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Cindy Pogue. Sandra is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Cris and Shelly Pogue and her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jeff Goodnight, one sister Ann McWatters and her husband Larry, her grandchildren Rylee Pogue, Jacey Kean and her spouse Conner Kean, Jordan McCoy and her spouse Sheldon McCoy and two great grandchildren Asher McCoy and Harper McCoy. Graveside Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M., Monday November 25, 2019 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Rev. Doyle O. Long, officiating. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to your favorite organization in Sandra’s name.
