Sammie Lee Dennie, age 59 and a life-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Rev. Tim Emmons, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma will officiate. Pallbearers are Jim Sharp and nephews, Brien, Patrick and Michael Lemmings, and Ashton and Robert Dennie, and niece, Alicia Dennie.rnrnSammie was born to Robert E. Dennie and Audrey Ava Marie (Sharp) Dennie on December 15, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a high school graduate of Konawa in 1969, and she received a BS HIM in Health Information Management from ECU of Ada, Oklahoma in 2006. Sammie loved gardening, crocheting, cooking and traveling. Above all, she loved being with her family.rnrnShe is survived by her father, Robert E. Dennie of Konawa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Danny C. Dennie of Omaha, Nebraska, and Randy E. Dennie and wife, Brenda of Lamar, Oklahoma; one sister, Rhonda Godwin and husband, Les of McLoud, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey ?Priss?
