Sarah Ethelia “Sally” Walker, 86, longtime Seminole resident, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Sally was born on March 30, 1931 in Silverdale, Kansas to Claude Laverne Scruggs and Addie Inez (Allen) Scruggs. Sally lived in Arkansas City, Kansas for many years before she moved to Seminole. She graduated from Arkansas City, Kansas High School. After living in Silverdale and Arkansas City, Kansas for many years she moved to Seminole in 1963. Sally was a member of the Immanuel Fellowship Church in Seminole, Oklahoma and was a longtime waitress in restaurants in Seminole. Sally loved to dance and fish. Sally is survived by her three sons, whom she loved very much; Alan Dale Walker and his wife Tish of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Michael Eugene Walker of Newton, Kansas and Rocky Bill Walker of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and one sister Helen (Scruggs) McAnally of Colorado, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Willard Scruggs, sisters, Kathleen (Scruggs) Hockenbury, Madeline( Scruggs) Pratt, Louise (Scruggs) Chapman and Rita Mae( Scruggs) Waldeck. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Little Cemetery, with Rocky Walker and Pastor Tim Tate officiating. Casket bearers will be Gene Chapman, Brian McGee, Brian Stay, Issac Howard, Tyler Walker and Allen Rude. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
