Sally Ann Johnson, age 72 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away October 11, 2016 at St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Frank Harjo and Jimsey Harjo will officiate. Burial will follow at the Johnson-Emarthle Cemetery. Casket bearers are Ronnie George, Eric George, Stormy George, Michael Johnson, Jared Johnson, and William George, Jr. Honorary bearers are Chris Buchanan, and Logan George. Sally was born July 28, 1944 in Spaulding, Oklahoma to Newman Johnson and Eliza (Emarthle) Johnson. She graduated from Spaulding High School, and worked as a seamstress for Lillian Russell Clothing. Sally loved going to garage sales, watching “The Price Is Right” game show on television, and listening to gospel singing. She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church of Konawa. She is survived by one son, Russell Johnson and wife, Melanie of Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Susie Buchanan and husband, Buck of Konawa, and Lucy George of Holdenville, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Andruw Johnson, and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newman and Eliza Johnson, and two brothers, Isaac Frank Johnson. Funeral Information: October 14, 2016, 1:00 PM (There is no Wake service scheduled.)
