Sabra Dawn Anderson, Shawnee resident, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, in Shawnee at the age of 64. Sabra was born on June 7, 1958, in Edmond, Oklahoma to Tommy Keller and Helen (Fires) White.
Sabra lived in Moore as a child and moved to Seminole when she as 8. She graduated from Seminole High School. She ran the In & Out Package Store in town up until 2017. Many remember her friendly smile, her way with her customers that became friends and “her love for fur babies” that were at the store greeting those that came in. She enjoyed summers at the family lake house located at Wewoka Lake where she married the love of her life, Don on July 11, 1998.
Sabra is survived by her father, Tommy Keller; husband, Don Anderson; sons, Corey Terney and wife, Krystal of Earlsboro and Josh Anderson and wife, Kristina of Oklahoma City; daughter, Nekia Anderson of Shawnee; ten grandchildren, Brooklyn Terney, Kealey Terney, Courtney Terney, Tre Hasbell, Brekken Anderson, Jadalyn Anderson, Ashlyn Anderson, Addalyn Anderson, Kenlyn Anderson and Ali Anderson and many other family and friends. She will also be dearly missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Sabra was preceded in death by her mother, Helen White; brother, Danny Keller.
A Celebration of Sabra’s life will be held at the Reynolds Wellness Center on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a balloon release. If you would like to share any stories and or pictures, please email nekia0527@gmail.com.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
